I have been a professional massage therapist for 14 years. Over the years I have taken numerous continuing education classes in order to expand my skills and better serve my clients. I am also a massage therapy instructor and will begin teaching Ashiatsu in the Atlanta area in the Summer of 2018. I actively support various professional massage therapist groups as well as maintaining credentials with the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals and the American Massage Therapy Association.
I have a passion for helping people dealing with pain as well as those looking to commit to their health and well-being by making massage a regular part of their lives.
I was inspired to become a therapist after experiencing the positive effects bodywork can have on not just the physical body but the emotional as well. After experiencing personal loss and sustaining a shoulder injury, I sought out massage as a means to cope with these issues. I credit the power of massage in bringing my mind and body back into balance.
On my path to personal wellness, I began a daily practice of qigong and yoga. Those two disciplines keep me strong and grounded so that I am better able to be of service to my clients. In my down time I enjoy hiking, cooking, sound baths and spending time with my husband Paul and our 2 rescue Pit Bulls & 3 rescue kitties.
