As a professional massage therapist for over 15 years, I’ve personally witnessed the power that receiving consistent bodywork can have on not only the physical body, but the emotional as well. Over the course of my career, I have taken numerous continuing education classes in order to expand my skills and better serve my clients. I actively support various professional massage therapist groups as well as maintaining credentials with the American Massage Therapy Association and the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. I am also a Certified Yoga Teacher and certified as a Trauma Informed Yomassage instructor.
I have a passion for helping people dealing with pain as well as those looking to commit to their health and well-being by making massage a regular part of their lives. I was inspired to become a therapist after personally experiencing the positive effects bodywork can have on the physical and emotional body. As someone who deals with anxiety, I truly believe in the power of massage, yoga, and breath-work to keep me feeling balanced and happy.
On a personal note, I love 80s alternative music (Kate Bush is my hero!), historical documentaries, reading, cooking , and true-crime podcasts. I spend the majority of time with my best friend and husband Paul, Buckley and Winona, our two rescue Pit Bulls, as well as Oscar, Adelaide, and Sookie, our three adorably cantankerous kitty cats. We all live happily together in East Atlanta.
